New Delhi: Pakistan football coach Zavisa Milosavljevich on Friday lamented the lack of a good finisher in his team after they played out a goal-less draw against Bangladesh in the opening match of the SAFF Championship here.

"It was a difficult match for us. Pakistan created several chances but the problem with us is that we couldn't finish them off. But a draw against the higher ranked Bangladesh was good," Milosavljevich said.

"We hope to qualify for the semifinals, the tournament is still open for us," said the Serbian at the post-match press conference.

Bangladesh's Macedonian coach Nikola Ilievski said Pakistan were motivated after their loss in the World Cup qualifiers.

"We have a young team and the boys played well. Today Pakistan were motivated after their loss to us in the World Cup qualifiers. The first match is always tough and I am happy with the draw," Ilievski said.

"We are still optimistic about advancing to the next stage," he added.
