New Delhi: At a time when Pakistan is facing continuously flak from the US for sponsoring terrorism, the neighbouring country is making continuous efforts to increase infiltration of militants in Kashmir.

With the recent increase in the number of infiltration bids and encounters in the Valley, it is clear that the handlers of terror across the border are trying their best to bring terror groups like Lakshar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad to carry out terror attacks in India.

The latest radio intercepts have revealed that the top terror heads in Pakistan are trying to unite these groups.

It has been revealed that efforts are being made that local commanders of the Lakshar should involve the terrorist of Jaish in their activities. Also, directions and instructions were issued for increasing the amount of infiltration from across the border.

The ISI, so as to ensure infiltration, has formulated a common coordination group with participation from the Pakistan Army and terrorist groups, sources said.

It is believed that Nasheer Ahmed, the LeT militant who was held last week has confessed that the ISI is breeding new set of terrorists for infiltration.

Senior Defence Ministry sources say 80 attempts of infiltration were made from across the LoC in months of August itself. While 15 militants were killed in encounter, four were captured alive by the security forces.
