Ghulam Ali's show stands cancelled after the protest staged by Shiv Sena against the Pakistani ghazal singer performing in Mumbai and Pune. But this is definitely not the first instance.
Here we bring few other Pakistani artists who had to face protests on the Indian land.
Atif Aslam:

On April 25, 2015, Pakistani Singer Atif Aslam had to cancel his show in Pune and Mumbai following the threats from some group.

Pakistani Band Mekaal Hasan:

In February 2014, some proactive party workers had damaged the venue of the press conference which was designed for Sufi Rock Pakistani Band Mekaal Hasan. The workers demanded the musicians to leave the country.

Taj Mastani and Tufail Sanjrani:

In March 2014, Pakistani singers Taaj Mastani and Tufail Sanjrati, who were performing at the Sindhi Sufi Festival held at Indira Gandhi National Center were also threatened to leave immediately.


Begum Nawazish Ali:

In October 2010, Pakistani actors Begum Nazazish Ali and Veena Malik were protested against their appearance in a reality TV show.

Veena Malik

Few activists of right wing outfit in July 2010 had protested against the casting of controversial Pakistani actress Veena Malik.
