Thiruvananthapuram (Agencies): A Vigilance Court on Friday posted the palmolein import graft case to February 26. Central Vigilance Commissioner PJ Thomas is accused in the same case.

Enquiry Commissioner and Special Judge S Jagadees adjourned the case as documents related to it were yet to be received from the Supreme Court.

The case relates to the loss of Rs 2.32 crore allegedly caused to the exchequer by import of palmolein in 1991-92 when late Congress leader K Karunarakan was the Chief Minister and Thomas the Food Secretary and a member of the Board of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation.

Thomas is the eighth accused in the chargesheet filed by the Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau in 2003.

Karunakaran, who died in Dec 2010, was the first accused in the case.
