New Delhi: There are many aspects in the Paras murder case that has left the police baffled. He was last seen at the Laxmi Nagar metro station in East Delhi at around 4 O’clock in the evening and just 11 minutes later his family is informed about his death through anonymous calls. Following which, the police registered a murder case.

Experts, on the other hand say that a body, when crushed under a speeding train, could be mutilated into not more than two pieces. However, if any part of the body gets entangled, that may cut the body into several pieces, but would also drag the body along up to quite a distance. The preliminary reports say that the incident happened within a span of 9-11 minutes, adding on to the dilemma of the police.

Railway officials claimed that the Ghaziabad EMU that passed the Pandav Nagar tracks were not fast enough to cut the body into 16 pieces. The Kanpur-bound Shatabdi Express was at speed that would have scattered the body into pieces.

The police also said that the last call received on Paras’s mobile was at 1:55 PM and he was last seen at Laxmi Nagar Metro Station at 4:11 PM. Notably, Pandav Nagar railway track is hardly 7-8 minutes away from the metro station.

However sources in GRP have indicated at both suicide and accident. However, the police are still busy in getting a breakthrough in the case.
