Both the Houses witnessed noisy scenes with members of different political parties trooping into the Well while raising their demands.

In Rajya Sabha, Chairman Hamid Ansari said that he has received a notice for suspension of Question Hour from Leader of the Opposition Arun Jaitley to discuss the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Bill, 2011.
"Considering the importance of the matter, I have accepted the notice," he said, asking Law Minister Kapil Sibal to read his statement on the Bill which would be followed by discussion.
As Sibal stood up, Samajwadi Party members shouted slogans against price rise.
V Maitreyan (AIADMK) and Sitaram Yechury (CPI-M) too tried to raise some issue but could not be heard in the din.

SP members soon trooped into the Well shouting, "Jab se Congress aiyee hai, kamar tod manghai hai (it is back breaking inflation since Congress came to power)."
