Patna: Railway Protection Force (RPF) police on Saturday arrested four youth from New Delhi bound 12309 UP Rajendra Nagar Rajdhani Express for allegedly consuming alcohol in a compartment of coach number A2.

The arrest was made at Rajendra Nagar Terminal railway station in Patna.

According to RPF inspector Ajay Sharma, while the jawans were inspecting the coaches before its departure, they found four youth consuming alcohol at seat number 1, 2, 3 and 4 of A2 coach.

“When RPF jawans told them that alcohol consumption inside train is prohibited, all of them created ruckus inside the compartment,” he added.
They are identified as Rohit Raj, Rahul Kumar, Varun Raj and Neeraj Kumar.

While Rohit and Rahul hail from Muzaffarpur and Sitamarhi respectively, Varun and Neeraj are residents of Patna.

Sharma also informed that only one passenger was carrying a ticket to New Delhi.
