London: A love story with a twist- hunk falls in love with a beast, both share great chemistry but are compelled to depart, this breaks the hunk’s heart who sheds tear when they are parted.

This narration describes the relation shared by ‘Twilight’ hunk Robert Pattinson with his co-star elephant Thai.

Robert Pattinson and Thai the elephant first met on the set of 'Water for Elephants' and the actor could not hold back his tears when they parted.

The actor admits he was sad when his animal co-star Thai finished her last day of filming and he shed a tear for the huge performer.

Thai and the 'Twilight' hunk became close friends during the shooting of the movie, a period love story set in the world of circus.

The 24-year-old actor says he was sad when his animal co-star finished her last day of filming, Contactmusic reported.

"I cried the last day Thai was on the set of 'Water For Elephants', and during the film, 'March of the Penguins'," Pattinson said.

The actor, who stars with Oscar-winners Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz, said he enjoys making movies with animals more than professional actors because there is less pressure.

"I think I have more affinity with animals than with people. For many reasons, I prefer working with animals and children than with actors. Often when you're working with actors, it becomes something almost competitive," Pattinson said.
