The Top Guns are languishing at the bottom of the table with eight points and they need a big win against Chennai, who are at 13 points, to qualify for the semi-finals. The visitors have lost just one tie and won rest three so far in the tournament and Bangalore coach Arvind Bhat feels it will be a tough task.
"We need to beat Chennai and grab at least five points along with winning the opponents Trump match, then we still stand a chance to proceed further in the league," Arvind told reporters.
Though Smashers and Top Guns would be on par with 13 points in case the home team pulls off a win, the latter will sail through because they had beaten the same opponent in earlier meeting.
The hosts have seen some great individual performances including Kidambi Srikanth's win over Lee Chong Wei and Suo Di's win over Han Li but it has not been enough to close out the final results.
