Srinagar: Opposition PDP in Jammu and Kashmir held a demonstration on Saturday demanding removal of Omar Abdullah-led coalition government over its failure to contain rampant corruption.

Led by party leader Mohammad Dilawar Mir, over 100 party workers took out a rally from the party’s headquarters at Polo View and marched towards Lal Chowk.

Protesters alleged that the state government is resorting to dictatorial tactics and has failed on all front. Instead of delivering quality facilities to people, the government is creating problems unnecessarily, they added.

They further accused Chief Minister Omar Abdullah of playing with the sentiments of J&K residents over the sensitive issue of the revocation of AFSPA.

They also opined that people are tired of this government therefore it must go.
