Bhopal: Coming as a welcome relief for the Madhya Pradesh people, Monsoon has hit the eastern part of the state. It is expected to enter Western part of the state soon.

According to information received from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Monsoon has reached the territory under Jabalpur and it is expected to advance to Western Part of the state.

2.5 mm rain has been recorded during the last 24 hours in Jabalpur.

Highest temperature of 37.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Capital city of Bhopal. Heavy rains are expected in the Eastern part of the state while lower areas in the western part of the state are also expected to receive rainfall.
