Bhopal: A meeting of bus fare revision board took place in the transport ministry here in which officials discussed about increasing the passenger fares.

According to the sources, this meeting continued for nearly two hours.

In this meeting there was an agreement over making a partial hike of -5 percent in fares of the buses in the state. A proposal in this regard would be sent to the Chief Minister Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan as well as to the Transport Minister Jagdish Deora and only then a final decision would be taken in this regard.

Remarkably, the representatives of bus operators had put up a proposal of -10 percent hike in the fares.
