London: Actress Kirsten Dunst, who plays a severely depressed woman in her latest film 'Melancholia', believes almost everyone suffers depression at some point in their lives.

The 'Spider-Man' star, who herself battled depression in 2008 and checked into rehab, does not believe that it is possible to avoid being depressed.

"People are embarrassed to talk about it. I would never put anyone down (who) was in that kind of space. I think most human beings go through some sort of depression in their life - and if they don't, I think that's weird," Dunst said.
