While Amazon may have recently denied rumours of launching a Smartphone, the company is actively working on its next generation Kindle tablets.

A tablet from Amazon appeared on GFXBench database. It showed that it would have the Android 4.2 platform and a Snapdragon 800 quad-core chipset. Earlier leaks suggest that the new model will have a RAM of 2GB with storage options of up to 32 GB.

Amazon recently reduced the prices of its cheapest tablets in the market. This might be an indication that the company is planning to release its next generation gadgets. Amazon is expected to launch its new tablets by September end; however the company is yet to make confirmation.
