After the formation of new government, the media management wing is likely to bring in certain change and possibly a new face and there are reasons to do so as well. The incumbent PIB Chief is known more for reportedly putting a check on the senior ministers instead of highlighting government’s achievements.

The Congress leaders have often heard charging that the achievements of the UPA governments have not been properly promoted among the people or else the party won’t have been in such a bad shape in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Though Neelam Kapur has seven more years in her service but she is likely to be replaced if a new government is formed at the Centre under Modi’s leadership.

In this context, speculations are already making rounds regarding a new position for Neelam Kapur. The PIB Chief herself is reportedly trying to get in touch with the top BJP leaders to avoid any reshuffle.
