The growing desire of Indians for SUVs is forcing the companies to roll out new and refined variants of vehicles in the market. So, let's take a look at some of the upcoming SUVs in India:

Chevrolet TrailBlazer

Automobile manufacturer GM India will introduce its sports utility vehicle (SUV) Chevrolet Trailblazer in July this year.

The Chevy TrailBlazer, made its global debut at the opening of the 2011 Dubai International Motor Show in the Middle East. The new-generation Chevrolet TrailBlazer combines has been developed in tandem with the all-new Colarado pickup by GM, it shares the same architecture as its truck sibling.

SsangYong Korando

South Korean automobile major SsangYong is liklely to launch its crossover inspired SUV 'Korando in July this year. It will be released with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed DSI model M11 automatic transmission. It will be offered in both 2-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive varinats.

New Tata Safari Storme

Tata Motors is expected to launch the face-lifted version of the Safari Storme in June this year with refreshed interiors and exteriors, along with added equipment and a retuned engine.

The face-lifted Tata Safari Storme is likely to be priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs. 13.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Tata Aria AT

Tata Motors is planning another assault with the new updated Aria. Tata Motors has revealed an updated Aria at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and it features an automatic gearbox. The Aria displayed at the show had an two-tone paint job. Other updates to the Aria include black headlamps, daytime running lights, new tail-lamps, new 19 inch alloys.

Mahindra Quanto AMT

Mahindra will launch the automatic version of it’s Quanto in June this year. The automatic Mahindra Quanto features an automated manual transmission that allows it to shift gears automatically.
