This time also he hogged the limelight when he broke away the security cordon and interacted with school children after his address to the nation on the 70th Independence Day today.

School children rushed to PM Narendra Modi after he ended his speech at the Red Fort in New Delhi. PM Modi even shook hands with a few of them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sporting a traditional safa (headgear), at the Red Fort broke away from the SPG security cover to meet a group of school children, who had assembled there.

Endearing himself to children and adults alike, PM Modi ventured forth to meet and greet children at the Red Fort, breaking away from his high-security cover, and then walked along the fence of a VIP enclosure, waving at the crowd on the occasion.
