Kolkata, Feb 15 (JNN/Agencies): Senior BJP leader LK Advani on Tuesday launched a direct attack on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, saying that he should come clean on all probes.

Addressing a rally in Kolkata, Advani said that JPC probe should be ordered in all corruption cases adding that “I pity Manmohan Singh for his position. This is for the first time that any PM is dragged into such a big controversy.”

He further added that, the Congress is responsible for looting the nation and it has no answer for S-Band controversy.

Earlier BJP National spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman while interacting with mediapersons demanded a statement from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the S-band allocation controversy, saying the subject falls under a department which is looked after by him and it involved the country's security.

She said, ''The department is held by the Prime Minister. This is a new scam termed as S-band scam. This is a very serious issue. We want a statement by the PM.”

She said that the bandhwith which had been given to a private party was used by the Coast Guard and other national security agencies.
She said, ''We also want the Prime Minister to speak on the whole issue of corruption and blackmoney. Why are we not signing the UN charter of corruption? It would have been easier to get information,'' she said.

Meanwhile reacting to Advani’s statement Congress said that BJP need to introspect action taken in Karnataka and said that it is behaving as ‘stuck record’. It even said that BJP is resorting to ‘shoot and scoot’ strategy.
