New Delhi: Taking a dig at the leadership of the Central establishment, BJP’s senior leader Yaswhant Sinha on Tuesday categorically said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is known for his honesty but leading a pack of corrupt ministers.

He advised the Prime Minister not to vouch for credentials and integrity of his Cabinet Ministers whose images have been tainted with graft. Fingering towards the ministers in Tihar jail, Sinha said that the PM had also patted them for their work, but they landed in the jail.

Terming the Lokpal Bill as unconstitutional in Tuesday's debate in the Parliament, he said that the Bill should be re-considered. “The BJP was in favour of a strong Lokpal. The Lokpal Bill carries many loopholes and even the constituent parties of the government are not satisfied with the present version of the Bill,” he added.

He pulled up the Central government for bringing changes in the draft made by the Standing Committee of the Parliament. Therefore, in accordance with parliamentary precedent, the Bill should be returned to the House panel for reconsideration.
