Bhopal: Probing the sensational murder case of RTI activist Shehla Masood, Bhopal police is likely to question Bharatiya Janata Party vice-president and Bhopal Central MLA Dhrub Narayan Singh and Inspector General Pawan Srivastava.

The chances of these two high profile people being questioned have sent ripples across the political and bureaucratic circles in the state.

RTI Activist Shehla Masood was shot dead by unknown assailants outside her house on August 16.

During the initial investigations, her father had informed the police that Shehla was not in good terms with the BJP MLA and the senior police officer.

The RTI activist was otherwise considered close to Singh under his tenure as the Chairman Tourism Corporation. Several contracts were awarded to
Moasood’s firm during his tenure.
