During a short briefing to the media, Akhilesh said that some decisions in the party are taken by him independently and some in consultation with Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Shivpal Yadav on Tuesday held a press conference where he said that he will follow the orders of his brother Mulayam Singh Yadav. “Netaji jo bhi faisla lenge vo hume sweekar hai”, Shivpal said while addressing supporters in Safai. The reaction came after Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav withdrew all important portfolios from his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav soon after he was replaced as the state party chief.

Exhibiting confidence in the people of Uttar Pradesh, Shivpal Yadav said that the people of the state are with Samajwadi Party. Amid talks of his resignation from the UP cabinet, Shivpal Yadav said that he will take the final call after meeting party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

When asked about Akhilesh Yadav’s decision, Shivpal said that ‘Cabinet allocation comes under CM’s jurisdiction and he has to take the final call’.
