Los Angeles: Popstars Rihanna and Britney Spears are teaming up for the remix version of Rihanna’s hit single ‘S&M’.

23-year-old Rihanna confirmed the collaboration with Spears, 29, on Twitter.

"I got a sexy collaboration coming your way super duper soon! Oh yeah! By popular demand. Its Britney (sic)," wrote the 'Umbrella' hitmaker on Twitter.

"Britney Spears one of the biggest worldwide popstars! Epic...major remix to S&M...now that's too much in the air. Think you can handle it (sic)," tweeted Rihanna.

Meanwhile, Spears, who had a powerful comeback with her latest album 'Femme Fatale' was quick to reply.

"You're such a tease! I like it, like it... You think they're ready Ri Ri?" Spears wrote.

Rihanna has earlier collaborated with rappers Eminem, Jay-Z and Kanye West and 'Pussy Cat Dolls' star Nicole Scherzinger.
