The Panamera Turbo S – powered by a 4.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine is capable of churning out 562 BHP. Porsche has loaded the car with two new turbochargers which has larger compressors, making it capable of increasing the air flow. The chargers are competent enough to pump in more oxygen into the combustion, when the car would cruise at high speeds.

It needs to be mentioned here that Porsche had launched Panamera 2014 in India almost a month back at Rs 1.19 crore. The Turbo S version of Panamera clearly stands out as the most powerful in its class compared to other versions – Diesel, GTS, Panamera 4 and Turbo.

Panamera Turbo S has a top speed of 310 kmph and the car can accelerate to 100 kmph from 0 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. The seven speed dual clutch automatic transmission along with four wheel drive makes the car pretty smooth to cruise through.

The price of Panamera Turbo S is yet to be disclosed and it’s expected that the latest version will be more expensive than the Turbo model. The Panamera cost Rs 1.19 crore, Panamera 4 at Rs 1.22 crore, Panamera Diesel at Rs 1.23 crore, Panamera GTS at Rs 1.60 crore and Panamera Turbo at Rs 1.99 crore.
