Noida: With the Republic Day inching closer, the chances of terrorist attacks are looming large. Pakistani Intelligence agency ISI with help of terrorist outfit Lashkar-Tayyaba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Huji are planning to carry out terrorist attacks in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the sources, the terror outfits have even planned to disguise themselves in police uniforms and execute the attacks in the security vehicles of the VVIPs.

After receiving information from the Intelligence Bureau (IB), the DGP of Uttar Pradesh has sounded an alert across the state and ordered the police department to be on high vigil.

Dainik Jagaran has a note of the secret letter that was issued by the DIG on December 28, 2011. As per the letter, it has been directed to keep a special vigil on the vehicles of the VVIPs and also instructions have been issued to check the identification of the officers in police or Army uniforms.

Meanwhile, alert has also been sounded in Noida.

According to IB sources, the terrorist may use the Noida route to execute blast in Delhi. Keeping this in mind the Noida SSP has been asked to tighten up the vigil and conduct special checks at all the places where Republic Day events are to be held in the city.
