New Delhi:The UPA government on Sunday scripted a new history by providing cheap laptops to the students in the country.  On occasion of 124th birth anniversary of country’s first Education Minister and famous freedom fighter Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, President Pranab Mukherjee launched the flagship scheme of the UPA at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

November 11 will be celebrated as the national education day. During the launching of Aakash, thousand of teachers will make conversations thorough video conferencing.

The Aakash 2 will be provided to the first one lakh consumers by the end of this year. Given some glitches in the Aakash 1, several technological changes have been made in the Aakash 2. It will cost Rs 1500. Aakash 2 will have 2GB memory which can be increased to 32 GB.
