Madhepura:  Precious idols of various deities were stolen on Wednesday from a temple under Udakishunganj police station area in Bihar's Madhepura district, police said.
Thieves barged into the Thakurbari temple and decamped with the idols of Lord Ram, Laxman, Sita and Hanuman.
Made of Ashtadhatu stone, the stolen idols were valued at over Rs one crore, police said.
The temple's priest Devkumar Jha has lodged an FIR in this connection, police said adding raids were being carried out to recover the stolen idols.
