During his three-day stay in Sweden, Mukherjee held talks with the King and Queen as well as Prime Minister Stefan Lofven among others.

In Belarus, the President held talks with the country's top leadership and captains of its business and industry, stressing on better trade ties between the two countries.

Also, India on Thursday extended a new line of credit of USD 100 million to Belarus and also agreed to work together bilaterally and in the context of the Russia-driven Eurasian Economic Union to address trade barriers, President Pranab Mukherjee said on Thursday.

Describing India as one of the fastest growing emerging markets, President Pranab Mukherjee invited Belarusian investors to the country in a bid to increase bilateral trade to USD one billion by 2020.
