Mumbai: Lifestyle retailer Promart Retail India Pvt Ltd, which was formerly a part of Provogue (India) Ltd, will open 100 outlets pan-India by Mar 2013, the company on Wednesday said in a release.
"We have already invested 100 crore (1 bln) rupees as a part of our overall expansion strategy in the current financial year...," the release said quoting Managing Director Ashish Garg.
"We plan to venture into Tier II - Tier VI towns...," he said.
The company has outlets in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Vadodara at present and plans to expand to Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Surat, Vapi, Valsad, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Pune, Indore, Jaipur, Udaipur, Delhi and the National Capital Region, the release said.
Promart had set up its first shop-in-shop store at Mumbai's Magnet Mall, the company said.
The company was launched by Provogue (India) and then was taken over by Uttar Pradesh-based Apple Group and VEMB Lifestyle Pvt Ltd in 2011.
