Pune: Even as sketches of two suspects of the August 1 multiple blasts are being prepared, no concrete leads pointing at the involvement of Dayanand Patil, the sole injured person, have emerged so far, police said on Friday.

Patil was injured while carrying a bag allegedly containing a low-intensity bomb that exploded near Balgandharva Theater on the bustling Junglee Maharaj (JM) Road on Wednesday evening, and is currently undergoing treatment at Sassoon Hospital, sources said.

"Nothing concrete has emerged from Patil's interrogation. He is in hospital for treatment of his injuries and for mental trauma," a senior police officer said.

A tailor by profession Patil used to commute to Pune daily from nearby Urali Kanchan village. His wife Satyasheela and some of his relatives were quizzed by police for two days after the four explosions rocked the city.

No arrest or detention has been made so far during the course of investigations which are being jointed conducted by Maharashtra ATS and city crime branch.

Meanwhile, sketches of two suspects who allegedly bought bicycles that were used in planting explosives, were being prepared by police, sources said.
