Chandigarh: The Punjab government on Tuesday approved six new Highway Projects in the state which would be completed with the investment of Rs 955.89 crore.

This information was stated by Punjab PWD Minister Sharnjit Singh Dhillon. The construction of 66 Km long Kapurthla Nakodar-Phillor Highway of Rs 138.99 crore, 54 Km long Manpur Head-1 to Jagroan- Raikot Highway of Rs 194.74 crore, 48 Km long Manpur Head-2 to Barnala-Raikot Highway of Rs 155.15 crore, 49 Km long Ndampur- Lehra Highway of Rs 163.71 crore, 73 Km long Tanda-Sri Hargobindpur- Sri Amritsar Highway of Rs 158.30 crore and 42 Km long highway from Riaya of Rs 145 crore has been approved by the Punjab government, an official release said.

He said the work on these projects has already been started.
