Chandigarh: Punjab Government on Thursday transferred six IPS officers in the state with immediate effect.
Dinkar Gupta, posted as ADGP/Security has been given the additional charge of law and order, taking over from S K Sharma, an official spokesman said.
Kuldeep Singh has been posted as IG/Community Policing and Training whereas R P S Brar has been posted as IG/Modernisation in place of Singh.
B Chander Sekhar has been posted as IG/Vigilance while Harpreet Singh Sidhu has been posted as IG/Crime. Kaustubh Sharma has been posted as DCP/Amritsar, the spokesman said.
