New Delhi: The CBI has tightened noose around the Delhi government for its alleged involvement in the Commonwealth games scam.

According to sources, the CBI has questioned two officials who were employed in the PWD at the time of construction of Barapullah elevated road.  However, Chief Minister Sheila Dixit refused to make any comment in this regard.  The CBI has also filed an FIR in this connection.

Terming it a general inquiry, the CBI has questioned a few engineers of PWD as well. This is the second time when the CBI has put a few senior officials of the Delhi government under scanner.

It is remarkable that, the Shunglu committee and CVC have also raised questions regarding the Delhi government’s involvement in the misappropriation of funds during Commonwealth Games.
