Raleigh (USA): Rahil Gangjee turned in a dazzling finish with four birdies in last four holes to zoom to the top-10 after the second round of the Rex Hospital Open Golf tournament on the Nationwide Tour.

The Kolkata golfer, playing his rookie season in the USA moved to six-under 136 and tied 10th place. The card of five-under 66 was his best this season.

Gangjee, who is looking to settle down at the highest levels in the game, opened with a birdie but then had a string of pars till the 11th and spoilt by one bogey on eighth.

A birdie on 12th changed things and then from 15th to 18th, he went on an overdrive with four birdies for a stunning five-under 30 on the back nine.

Gangjee is four shots behind the leader, Scott Brown, the 28-year-old from South Carolina, who carded a course record-tying nine-under 62 in the first round of the same event last year.

Last year's event saw the final round washed away. Brown's 132 is one better than Martin Flores (67) and Kyle Thompson, winner at this event in 2007, carded a 66 and is tied third at eight-under with Ryan Armour, runner-up last week at Melwood Prince George's County Open.

However, Daniel Chopra, winner of the Fresh Express Classic on Nationwide Tour this season, missed the cut with rounds of 70-72 as the cut came at one-under.
