The Gandhi scion will land at the Amausi airport here after which he will interact with a group of editors at a five-star hotel and then hold a road show in the city.

He is later scheduled to go to Barabanki, on the outskirts of the state capital and offer prayers at Deva Sharif, Congress leader PL Punia said.

"Rahul Gandhi is a leader who is very popular with youngsters and the people in my parliamentary constituency are looking forward to this visit," he added.

Rahul is also scheduled to meet 'aanganwadi' workers and cooks of mid-day meals at Chinhat in Lucknow.

The Congress vice-president will fly to Mirzapur on March 1 and will address a public rally. Rahul will then drive to Varanasi where he will hold a meeting with rickshaw pullers.

The two-day road show comes after a gap of almost two years.
