New Delhi: Taking the campaign for the coming Assembly elections to the next level, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi would embark upon an election rally in the Chamba and Bilaspur districts of poll-bound Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday.

Rahul Gandhi along with Congress President Sonia Gandhi addressed a similar rally in Shimla and Kangra districts on Tuesday. While, addressing the rally, the Congress general secretary flayed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state.

The Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal came under the fire of Sonia Gandhi, who alleged that his government has misused the funds allocated for the development of Himachal Pradesh. While launching a scathing attack on Dhumal, she claimed that due to BJP rule, the state is lagging behind in social and economic reforms. She also added that the BJP didn’t make adequate efforts to implement various central schemes in the state.
