Ranchi: In order to boost the morale of the party workers in Jharkhand, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will kick off two-day visit to state starting from September 25.

The Gandhi scion will also visit the ‘Steel City’ Bokaro and the naxal affected district Dumka. Rahul Gandhi clued-up about his tour to a delegation of Tana Bhagat community from Jharkhand, headed by MLA Geeta Shri Urrao during a meet in Delhi on Thursday.
Thirty four-member Tana Bhagat delegation-led by by MLA Geeta Shri met the congress general secretary and apprised him of their problems. The major demand of the Tana Bhagat community stays unattended from past many years.

This community had not been paying the land taxes since the Independence and now they are facing major problems in getting their land registered.

According to Geeta Shri, Rahul patiently heard the problems of the delegation and assured them of helping in all ways. The delegation also demanded an increase in the seats in ITI so that more children can be trained.
