New Delhi: Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi is busy calculating political damage of the party owing to Anna Hazare’s movement for Jan Lokpal during absence of Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi asked all general secretaries of the party and in-charge of states to assess the damages of the Congress and plan a separate strategy for each state to implement the important projects.

In the meeting held under the leadership of Congress Treasurer Motilal Vohra, Rahul said, “Specific strategies must be framed for each state.”

He said, “The party functionaries must focus on implementing social programmes in the states which will yield long term benefits for the Congress.”

In the meeting, it was unanimously concluded that the proposal approved during the Burari Congress session must be implemented in all states. Under this, the Congress needs to push up flagship policies of the party in all states.
