Hisar: The unrelenting tussle between Sarva Khap Mahapanchayat and Jat Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti over Jat reservation is not letting the railway services to operate normally in Haryana.

The protesters have been squatting on the railway tracks at various places in the state for over last two weeks which has thrown the railway services in the state out of gear.

The Sangharsh Samiti on Sunday announced that they had decided to hold more protests and blockage of railway tracks near two more villages in the state.

Earlier on Saturday, the ‘Sarv Khap Samiti’ representatives had held a meeting with the state Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in Chandigarh after which they announced to withdraw their protest.

Actually the Khap representatives were supposed to announce their decision to end the protest at 11 am but they didn’t turn up for this. Finally the Samiti representatives declared on Sunday to carry forward their agitation from Monday.

According to the fresh announcement, the protestors are likely to intensify their stir by blocking rail tracks near two more villages of Haryana. When asked about the specific information about the two spots, the representatives declined to divulge in this regard.
