New Delhi: Rail traffic on old Yamuna bridge was restored on Thursday afternoon after the water level in Yamuna river receded, a senior Northern Railway official said.

Regular train service with restricted speed was allowed over the 145-year-old Yamuna bridge, the official said.

The movement of trains except EMU service was suspended on Wednesday. Services of over 50 trains were affected due to the rise in water level of Yamuna.
