New Delhi: For the convenience of passengers, the Indian Railways will soon launch a new web portal containing information related to traveler services. In addition, passengers will have the luxury to lodge their complaints through telephone number 132 – which has been reserved for the purpose.

Though Northern Railways has started the pilot project for the web portal, which is still in the developing stage. Soon the passengers will get the facility of the web portal.

Chief Public Relation Officer Shailendra Kumar Sharma said the portal will based on web complaint management and SMS management system.

The Northern Railways has already started the SMS based complaint system, which is available round the clock for passengers. Soon 35 websites will be linked with this web portal.

The spokesman of Northern Railways said new complaint number 132 has started on trail base. This number can be dialed any mobile or telephone number of the country.

Northern Railways has already provided mobile number 9717630982 or 57886 for making complaint through SMS.
