Gwalior: While torrential rain in the city brought relief to the citizens from the summer heat, the newly built Trauma Centre at Jayarogya Hospital has to face trouble after the recent downpour caused water-logging in the Centre.

The Centre which was inaugurated last month has been built with an amount of Rs 5 crore. But Tuesday’s water-logging incident has raised serious questions on the construction agencies.

The city witnessed incessant rain on Tuesday which submerged most parts of Gwalior. The rains also revealed Gwalior Municipal Corporation’s inadequacy to deal with the drainage problem in the city in times of crisis.
