Bhopal: People of Madhya Pradesh will have to wait for rains for few more days as Monsoon prospects get dim in the state. It has struck in the eastern part of the state and is unlikely to advance to other parts of the state for the time being.

According to Meteorological department sources, Monsoon is likely to become active in the state again in a few days with low pressure being formed in the Bay of Bengal.

Prospects of a favorable Monsoon had made people of the state elated which got frail in the state later on and advanced to eastern Uttar Pradesh.

This is the reason that there is no let up in the heat in the state. However, indications are that Monsoon may reach Capital Bhopal via Chhattisgarh, Orissa and rains may take place in the state next week.
