New Delhi: Call it Anna effect. The supporters of the Gandhian leader Anna Hazare who have been thronging the Ramlila Maidan to support the social activist in his fight against corruption were up for a test on Tuesday.

Heavy rains accompanied with storm lashed the national capital, uprooting the water proof tents erected at the protest venue, but the heavy rains in fact added fire to the zeal of Anna’s supporters.

The supporters remained undeterred by the collapse of the tent and continued with their protest as they came out of the tent.

Anna’s supporters joined the chorus of “Anna tum aage badho hum tumhare sath hain” and danced to the patriotic music played at the venue.

Two minor injuries were reported because of the collapse of the waterproof tent. However it failed to put a dent into the spirit of Anna’s support. The injured were provided first aid by the doctors available at the venue.
