Allahabad: Four days after DSP Zia-ul-Haq was killed, it seems that Uttar Pradesh police is all set to give a clean chit to Kunda MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya whose name is missing from the FIR lodged in the case.

The FIR filed by the Hathigava police station SHO does not mention the name of Raja Bhaiya or any of his aides. On the contrary, in another FIR filed by DSP’s wife, Raja Bhaiya and his aides have been named as prime accused.

It was a planned murder: Slain DSP’s wife

Parveen Azad, wife of Zia-ul-Haq, had earlier filed a police complaint, accusing Raja Bhaiya and his men of killing her husband. She alleged that Raja Bhaiya was harassing the police officer as he was investigating a recent communal clash in Pratapgarh.

The Uttar Pradesh police have also not been able to find the bullet which allegedly killed him. According to the government postmortem report Haq was hit by only one bullet but his widow claims that he was hit by three bullets.
