Jaipur: Keeping in view the forthcoming Rajasthan Assembly Elections scheduled to be held on in the last month of 2013, the Congress, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) vis-à-vis Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have started devising strategies.

The BSP has already made its presence felt in the previous assembly polls by winning 5 seats.

This is, however, another matter that after winning the assembly elections, its MLAs have joined the Congress to be ministers. This time too, the party is going to contest on all the 200 seats.

Rajasthan BSP president hopes to win more seats this time. After storming to power with huge mandate, the Samajwadi Party is focusing on three districts bordering with UP. The party is all set to encash its opposition on reservation to SCs and STs in promotions in government jobs.

To woo the voters in the state assembly elections, BSP Supremo Mayawati has entrusted the task to dozen of its leaders from the state of Haryana and Rajasthan. They have been selected purely on the basis of their caste. She, herself, will visit Rajasthan in the early month of 2013 for strengthening the party in the state.

“This time the state BSP will win more seats as compared to that of previous assembly elections,” said state BSP President Bhagwan Singh Baba.
