New Delhi: Navin Jain, the Rajasthan cadre IAS officer who went missing on Tuesday morning from outside a restaurant on the Jaipur- Delhi national highway in Alwar district, remained untraceable for the fourth day on Friday.

According to the police sources, they have got some clues of Jain in Meerut hence they have started search operations there.

Meanwhile, police has also sought help from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana police to carry out search operations in Meerut and other important areas in the states.

Sunita Jain, wife of Navin Jain told the reporters that she still has no clue about her husband.

Meanwhile putting an end to the controversy, the state government allotted Jain family the controversial government flat due to which Jain was worried and alleged to have disappeared.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has assured the Jain family to solve the mystery as soon as possible.

However, the Opposition has criticized the state government for the fiasco.

Slamming the state government, former CM Vashundhara Raje told the reporters, “If the administration has no clue of an IAS officer after four long days, then how can people feel safe in the state.”
