Jaipur: After the alleged corruption and nepotism charges against Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, senior Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Vasundhara Raje has asked him to submit his resignation on moral grounds.

Taking a swipe at the CM, Raje said that media had exposed the large scale corruption being carried out by Gehlot and there are several evidences to prove him guilty.

After reviewing the preparations for party President Nitin Gadkari’s forthcoming visit to Jaipur, Raje said “The charges against the CM are not baseless and several cases of corruption by him have cropped up in the recent past.”

Raje was quick to mention“During my tenure as CM, some politicians had framed fake corruption charges against me, but as the allegations were baseless they could not prove them.”

Meanwhile, former minister and BJP legislator, Kali Charan Sarraf said “Corruption is at its prime in Gehlot government.”  He also demanded CM’s resignation on moral ground.

BJP president will start a nation-wide movement against inflation, corruption and black money from May, 2.
