The home minister was speaking at SAARC Home Ministers' meet in Islamabad where he arrived on Wednesday evening. His speech was blacked out as media was not allowed to cover it.

"There is no good or bad terrorism. Terrorism is terrorism. There should be no glorification of terrorists as martyrs," he strongly said.

He also added that mere condemnation of terrorism is not enough.

"There should be strongest of action not only against terrorists but also against organisations, individuals and nations who support terrorism," the home minister said.

His visit to Islamabad comes amid unrest in the Kashmir Valley. The turmoil started after the July 8 killing of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani.

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had described Wani as a "martyr" who died fighting for the "freedom" of Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier, hundreds of people gathered outside the home minister’s hotel in Islamabad to protest against his arrival despite tight security.

Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh's press interaction at Delhi airport has been cancelled.
