New Delhi: Signaling a possible realignment of his party's alliance in Haryana, BJP President Rajnath Singh on Thursday met Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) chief Om Prakash Chautala at a hospital in national capital, party sources said.

They said Rajnath Singh, accompanied by party vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, met Chautala at the Ram Manohar Hospital.

The leaders of two parties are learnt to have discussed current political developments during the meeting which lasted nearly an hour. Chautala, who heads the INLD, has been jailed for 10 years for irregularities in appointment of teachers in 2000.

BJP sources said there was a possibility of INLD and BJP forming an alliance for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Assembly elections are also due in Haryana in 2014. BJP is, at present, in alliance with Haryana Janhit Congress-BL in Haryana.
