Moradabad: Putting an end to all the speculations about the successor of Uttar Pradesh’s liquor baron Ponty Chadha’s business empire, his brother Rajinder Singh Chadha alias Raju Chadha will finally take over the business.
Raju had talks with the officials of excise department in this regard on Monday. Raju has been looking after the sugar and liquor factories.
Ponty had monopoly over the liquor business in the state. He had extended his liquor business in Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand too. After demise of Ponty on Saturday at Chhatarpur farmhouse, the question raised over the successor of his business empire.
